Everything happens for a reason

I am a women in my 40s and lives in Stockholm. I applied for a job as a chief for a big section at Karolinska Hospital. I had a friend who wanted the same job and applied for it too. I got an email from the employer were he explained that I didn’t get the job. It was really devastating because I was so sure that I was going to get and when I saw that email, it crushed me. I lost all the confidence in myself and it took a year until I got a job offer as a chief for another section, but in another hospital at Huddinge. As a person, I really believe in destiny and that makes me believe that I didn’t get the first job because I would been offered the job at Huddinge in the future. Even though it was tough to get through the year with no job where I had to use all my savings. But now I am so happy because I believe everything happens for a reason.
