I was so successful

I had a successful company abroad in Spain where I sold small delicacies like salmon, small desserts and similar delicacies. Me and my companion where part owners of the company and we had good communication and collaboration. Later on, my friend betrayed me and took all the company's money which also where my money and ran away. Consequently I got broke and couldn't pay my bills or anything. I was left stranded and I had to fly home to Sweden and face the reality. I haven’t seen him since he fled, but I heard that his new company went bankrupt. Something I wished I had done was saving money instead of spending it, because then I wouldn’t have gone bankrupt. I really wish I could go back in time and change that, but that is what life is and right now I can’t do anything about it.
